Section 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Bangladesh Labour (Amendment) Act, 2010.

Section 2. Amendment of Section 28 of Act No. 42 of 2006.—In Section 28, sub-section (1) of the Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006 (Act No. 42 of 2006), the number, words and brackets “57 (fifty-seven)” shall be replaced by the number, words and brackets “60 (sixty)”.

Section 3. Repeal and savings.—(1) The Bangladesh Labour (Amendment) Ordinance, 2010 (Ordinance No. 3 of 2010) is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding the repeal under sub-section (1), all actions taken or measures adopted under the repealed Ordinance shall be deemed to have been taken or adopted under this Act.
